Privacy Policy
Last updated July 12, 2026
ProofBinder collects the minimum personal information needed to run the platform and respond to inquiries. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This site and the ProofBinder Intelligence platform are operated by ProofBinder Public, LLC, an operating company of The Clemenza Group. For any privacy question or request, contact office@proofbinderusa.com.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in, we use a passwordless magic link tied to your email address. We store your email, role, and authentication timestamps. We do not store passwords.
- Briefing and contact submissions. If you request a briefing or contact us, we collect the name, organization, email, and any details you provide in the message.
- Billing information. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status; we never receive or store full card numbers.
- Usage information. We collect product and page analytics (pages viewed, features used, and similar events) to improve the service.
The federal award, entity, and pricing data shown in the platform is derived from public U.S. Government sources and is not personal information about you.
How we use information
- To authenticate you and provide the platform and its features.
- To respond to briefing requests and support inquiries.
- To process subscriptions, trials, and billing.
- To send service and product communications you have opted into or that are necessary to operate your account.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Service providers
We share information only with vendors that process it on our behalf under contract:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
- Resend — transactional and notification email.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
- PostHog — product and usage analytics.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Cookies and analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and a limited set of analytics events to understand how the platform is used. You can block non-essential cookies through your browser settings; essential authentication cookies are required to sign in.
Data retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to records we are required to retain.
Your choices and rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time. To exercise any right, email office@proofbinderusa.com. We respond within a reasonable period and within timeframes required by applicable law.
Security
Access to the platform is authenticated and authorized, data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers, and row-level security governs what each account can read. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least-privilege access by default.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated to active account holders.
